Presenting Studio Gibrand; brother and sister merging the precision of gastronomy with the art of architecture, elevating the potential of both. We do interior, architecture and product design for private residences and commercial spaces. Together, we have a wealth of experience and demonstrated success in design across the globe.

Sara

Sara has a Master in Architecture and has worked in Architecture offices in Europe, Africa and Asia learning about building techniques and cultural lifestyles. She has traveled the world, experienced the extreme and worked in the african bush with social work and wildlife rehabilitation; gaining a greater understaning of needs and resources. 2018 she moved into hospitality design with yachts and cruise ships, specializing in interior and high end projects. She later started her own business with design consultancy and since then, architecture, yachts, interior and product design has occupied her time with projects globally.

 

As a multi-diciplinary designer, Sara joined the culinary sphere assisting her brother with design for Bocuse d'Or and the Nobel dinner. Moving to the capital, she has continued to work with the chefs around Stockholm with restaurants, branding and award-winning competition design.

Sebastian has experience from a number of star restaurants around the world and has an impressive competition background. On his track record, he has among other things had the honorable task of being responsible for the Nobel dinner 2019, won silver in Bocuse d'Or, the world's most prestigious competition for chefs, and a win in TV4's Kockarnas Kamp 2019.

Always striving for excellence, Sebastian has been engaged in the design process behind all his achivements; developing garnishes, molds and presentation platters for the competitions which has ended up on the forefront of leading design trends. With great competence in project management he supervises kitchen and restaurant designs as well as the development of bespoke furniture and products with a focus on elegance and functionality.
